If Chocolate Cinnamon Bears are Wrong..

Then I don’t want to be right.

I was first introduced to these by my sister Jane, who discovered them at the BYU Bookstore candy counter. The only other place I've been able to find them are Smith’s grocery stores in Utah (in large, scoop-yourself barrels - made by Sweet’s Candy Company). I have also made them myself, using melted Hershey’s Kisses.

I am sad (and, frankly, baffled) to report that not everyone is on board. In fact, when I try to spread the word about chocolate-covered cinnamon bears, I am often met with look that makes me wonder if when I try to say “CHOCOLATE” it doesn’t comes out sounding like “MUUUUSTARD.”

Oh well. More for me.

OMG! I love chocolate covered bears. The ones in the bookstore are by far the best things I have ever tasted in my entire life (ok, that could be an exaggeration but I needed to express exactly how much I love them). I can't wait to make some of my own.

Oh, Katie there are certain things that I see that still make me think of you. Chocolate cinnamon bears, diet chocolate drinks, the hot tub at the enclave, and any time I watch the news. For some reason I always expect to see you reporting the latest 10:00 news.

I'm not sure I've ever had a chocolate covered cinnamon bear, but I am open to the idea . . .

Chocolate+cinnamon= might as well eat straight up mustard, because that sounds awful.
