Gumundrum

When Leah enters a room, it is usually at full speed and full volume. So when she approached me today slowly and with her head down, I knew something was up.

Sure enough, there was an entire wad of gum mashed into her bangs.

I figured the poor thing must be terrified to fess up. So, I took mercy and knelt down to her level.

"Leah, is there something you want to say?"

"Yes"

"What is it?"

"I need more gum."

  7. Two things...

    1. If her bangs were long enough, you could make her stand close to the freezer, so close in fact that her bangs are IN the freezer, to help with the ease of removal. I know this from PERSONAL experience. I've had a kid stand VERY close to the freezer to freeze off the gum! Not kidding, sadly! (She had verrrrrrrrrrrry long hair!)

    2. Did your mom really say LOL??? I love that!!!

  9. I want to adopt Leah. Ship her to North Carolina, and I'll get her a pet zebra from the Lazy 5 Ranch. The three of us can have a very happy life together.

  12. That's why I don't have bangs. Can't chew gum and expect it to stay out of those pesky bangs.

  14. Did she even know it ended up in her bangs...was she looking for it? This picture tells a thousand words, however, not the outcome I would've expected. She's hilarious!
